where are you going
Have you ever stopped to ask yourself where you’re heading. What is the purpose of your actions. Where are you going? What is it that you want and for what reason. Is it something you want to control? Do you want security? Do you want money or status? Or simply to be seen? What makes you itch. Where does it come from and is it aligned with your inner most sacred values and beliefs?
We are living organisms, a result of our environment. That is to say, that we are one, moving as one, breathing as one with the rest of life on planet Earth. If one living thing is to be extinct or removed from the equation the rest is to be affected. The same goes for the movements in the universe and how that affects life on the planet. This means we are also one with that. So, where you think you are going and the actions that come from your decisiveness are directly affecting others like ripples on water.
With the knowledge of above, that we are one, connected and moving as one; the disconnected self is an obvious delusion. You can simply think your way to a separate entity and with that feel as you are. But the matter of fact is that you’re not that. You are so much more, connected with all there is. You matter. Your actions matter and forms your environment. Whether that is a small society containing family, the environment of school, friends or your workplace; how mindful of this oneness are you.
What makes you itch and ignites your fire. What matters are close to your heart and touches your truth. If this doesn’t make any sense but you made it this far, take a moment to reflect on it. Ask yourself where you think you're going, what is it that you want and for what reason. Is it fame, security, luxury, recognition, love, to feel. What is it, and when you reach the root of your desire, do you still want it? Or is there something else closer to your truth - closer to your heart.
Every accomplishment done my anyone is a gain for everyone. Knowing that, I also know that I can choose to put my energy into the matters that are speaking to my soul. The matters that are closer to me than the hand-down illusions I had before of what mattered by the collective. The ones that are so fragile that I’m almost afraid to touch them for the fear of breaking them. Me raising my awareness is my contribution to the collective consciousness.
As we are a result of all that is going on means that we are going to change form until our last breath. Just like nature and all other life on this planet our time here is brief and what we think and do while we’re here matters. But we shouldn’t take it too seriously. Life is and we are in a constant flux of change. What I invite you to do is to ask yourself what it is that you really want and for what reason. Where are you going? Dig deep and get to the root of it. Change your mind if you want to but pull the roots up first.
