What is an inner compass and how does it differ from your minds voice? Is it the same thing and how do you realign it if it isn’t? Well, I’m going to tell you about what it means to me and how I go about it.
So what is an inner compass; it is the values that are aligned with your heart and soul. It is the inner force that motivates you to move, how to move and in what direction. It is your heart and soul that guides you home. It is who you are when you set aside fear, survival instincts and insecurities. It is where your conditioning comes to an end, it is the vulnerable you, the naked you. You without your walls. You, when you’re nothing but your pure essence. It’s you when you are vibrating on your highest frequency.
To get to your inner most sacred values you have to peel off the layers you’ve picked up over the years and examine them. Where do they come from and do they feel like home. Is it effortless and comfortable being there, thinking that way, being that person, moving from that place. If the suit is to tight then take it off. You don’t need to force yourself anymore to fit into something that isn’t you. You have my permission to throw that suit away, or hang it in the closet together with the other ones you’ve outgrown. I’m talking about the perspectives that you built all your decisions upon. It is the lens through which you see the world.
You have the power to bring your walls down and open your heart to other possibilities of the truth more aligned with your core essence, your pure self, your soul. This work is not easy nor is it frictionless. The inner battle is real and your mind is not going to want to let go of these patterns it’s been accustomed to. You will feel the powerful pull of attachment and the pain of separating from them. But don’t worry it’s all to get you to a more liberated and free space. I promise you that the time and effort you put into this will be highly rewarded. On the other side lies your love, freedom and trust.
The work needs to be done, it’s hard and you have to be willing to devote yourself and not give in. From my own experience I felt like my world fell apart with every brick removed and demolished. Every illusion that I took for my truth was being drawn into the light in which I got to see it clearly. It was based on fear of being annihilated, pure conditioning. It was uncomfortable, painful and humiliating. My ego was stripped of all the medals collected over the years for being clever and knowledgeable. I let the dead leaves fall.
The inner compass is seen and set from a place of abundance, unconditional love and joy in which you move around freely and with ease. The place your inner compass is guiding you is always home. It is the home to your soul. It is where you operate from abundance and trust, where whatever you ever wanted you yourself are. You get to be and shine your light which automatically lights another. It’s where you remember and your remembering ignites the fire of another and they start to remember. Tune in, the song sings you home.
